There are many different people from all over the world who like going barefoot. Some people like doing it as a hobby. On the other hand, other people who go barefoot as a tradition or as a part of their culture. Apparently, there are many who like going barefoot are unable to share their stories. So, this will be a long interviewing series and talking to people who are from all over and let them speak about their barefooting. So, welcome the newest barefoot interviewee, Ilfa. Ilfa is (currently) 19 year old student who was born in Medan, Indonesia and resides in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia. Here is what Ilfa had to say about being barefoot.

What inspired you to go barefoot?
Going barefooting has become a habit in my country. All of my family like to barefooting, so i like to barefooting also.

What are some of the reasons you like going barefoot?
Comfortable and good for health.

Name some places you like going barefoot.
At home, the theater, and beach are good places to barefoot.

Where would you like to try and go barefoot that you haven't done so?
The shopping mall.

Why do you think people should go barefoot more often besides at home and the beach?
Because it is fun and healthy.

Give us a story of a time you went barefoot and had a lot of fun doing it.
I participated in a festival on campus and I encircles the campus with my friends. We were actually dressed up and barefoot; that is very fun.

Why do you think some stores have banned going barefoot?
I never seen banned going barefoot in my country; it depends on the store. Maybe they are very keep cleaner the stores.

If possible, please share any of your barefooting experiences.
I love to play volleyball with barefoot, my friend also liked it, I did not feel any pain or blisters on my feet. I also actually do barefoot jogs with one of my friends. I jog in the surrounded campuses with her (Silvia), and start barefooting on my campuses with her. Our jog is normally about a good 30-35 minutes. My reason for jogging barefoot on campus is because it's mainly during our free time. In Indonesia, jogging barefoot is our habit/hobby, but many people jog with shoes also.

Since going barefoot is healthy, why do you think people deny it?
Some people might think its not clean.

What would you say to someone who thinks going barefoot is gross?
Well its up to them, they have freedom to think

Conclusion.
I do thank Ilfa for taking the time and answering these questions and as well as supporting that going barefoot is actually a good and healthy thing. Tune in next time when someone else in another country talks about their likes on barefooting. Remember, speak your mind and comment down below.
